I’m proud to announce that I’m moderator for this year’s DC Center Black LGBT Writers’ Forum, part of the Outwrite Weekend Book Festival! This event will be held on Saturday, August 2, 1 p.m., at the DC Center in Washington, D.C.
The DC Center Black LGBT Writers’ Forum is a celebration of the dynamic and diverse voices of Black LGBT writers. The attending writers/authors will read from their newest works. As well, and most importantly, they will discuss various topics including: the writer’s process; the essential ingredients for success; and how to succeed in the world of publishing.
The author panel will be comprised of Rashid Darden, Buddah Desmond, Cheryl Head and Michelle Sewell. The DC Center is located within the Reeves Center, at 2000 14th Street, N.W. The event is free and open to the public.
I’ll be signing copies of Nothing Can Tear Us Apart—RAGE! Looking forward to seeing you there! For more information, contact the Nair’Bo Universal offices on 301-300-9996.
